All my tattoos are quoted as flat rate sessions using a pricing structure that considers: design/drawing time, revisions, supplies and materials, bookkeeping, studio rent and time booked for the actual tattoo session. I quote this way as I find it to be the most fair pricing structure for both myself and my clients as we both know exactly what to expect upfront.

The time slots listed below are the total time for each session. For example, a 3 hour, half day session, is typically around 2.5 hours of needle-in-skin time. The time it takes to edit the design (if needed!), make stencils, and discuss placement on appointment day is all considered part of your ‘session’ time.

Please note I do not tattoo for more than 6 hours in one day (usually 6.5 - 7 hours of ‘in studio’ time for full day sessions). Tattoos estimated to take longer than one session will be discussed in advance, and will be broken up into multiple sessions. Exceptions may be made for folks travelling from out of town eager to finish in one day (to be discussed and planned in advance)

Below are my rates for partial vs full day sessions, for both flash and custom work. Anything less than a half day session will be quoted on a case by case basis:

HALF DAY SESSION:

Flash: $400* / Custom: $600*

( 2 - 3 hour session )

REGULAR DAY SESSION:

Flash: $600* / Custom: $800*

( 3 - 5 hour session )

the majority of bookings fall into this category, with 4.5 hour sessions being the average

FULL DAY SESSION:

Flash: $800* / Custom: $1000*

( 5 - 7 hour session )

for a full day session please expect to be in the studio from 10am - 5pm or so

ESTIMATES BASED ON SIZE:

These sizing estimates below only act as a guideline. I always require a full description, size, placement, and reference or inspiration photos (if you have them) to properly process and quote your tattoo request.

MICROREALISM (2” - 6”)

Although small, this style of tattooing is one of the most time consuming due to the extreme detail and precision required.

Microrealism tattoos between 2” - 3” typically take between 2 - 3 hours

Microrealism tattoos between 3” - 6” typically take between 3 - 5 hours

This all depends on the amount of detail in the design, the tattoo size, the placement on your body, and the condition of your skin.

LARGER SCALE REALISM (6” - 8”)

The majority of tattoos 6” or larger are booked as full day sessions, which is anything I expect to take 5+ hours. Although not really considered ‘microrealism’ at this size, the style of my work is still quite detailed and time consuming.

In a full day session I can usually complete a tattoo between 6”- 8” tall. For tattoos that are 8” or over I often book 1.5 - 2 full day sessions, depending on how long I anticipate we might need.

Again, this all depends on the amount of detail in the design, the tattoo size, the placement on your body, and the condition of your skin.

A quote will be given to you and a deposit will be required before any appointment is confirmed. Your deposit will be deducted from the total of your tattoo after taxes on the day of your appointment.
